Built in 1872 The Tannochbrae has a modern interior behind its stone & mortar exterior whilst retaining its original Victorian character. To mark its 150 year anniversary The Tannochbrae has been sympathetically refurbished during 2022, creating luxury accommodation to be experienced self-catering or room basis.

The Tannochbrae has an enviable foyer leading to the Ferguson drawing room and dining room, through to a newly refurbished, stunning kitchen with a dedicated pantry, boot room and utility areas all fully equipped. A sweeping staircase gives access to the 5 spacious ensuite bedrooms, all situated on the first floor
Guests can exclusively book our renowned Whisky Snug bar and lounge, Nosing experiences with a ‘Keeper of the Quaich’, Afternoon Tea, Dining and Breakfast options.
Dufftown is classed as the Malt Whisky Capital, a perfect base to explore the wealth of distilleries on the Whisky Trail, or enjoy the Castle trail and all that can be discovered along the way.
The house is an easy 1 mile walk to the world-famous Glenfiddich & The Balvenie Distilleries with visitor tours and many more locally to walk around.
A multitude of country pursuits can be enjoyed close to your doorstep, such as golfing, fishing, hiking, walking, cycling, hill walking, gardens and places of historic interest, there are National Trust Properties in abundance.
The house is only a 60 minute drive from Aberdeen or Inverness Airports.

Entering into a beautiful foyer it provides access to a large dining area and drawing room with log fire, games, library and a TV with comfortable seating.
A courtyard to the rear of the home area gives compact social outdoor space with BBQ grill and imposing outdoor seating.
The property has one step to the entrance, gas central heating with ambient energy efficient controls and comprises:

Dining Room: with large table seating 10 with ease and additional table arrangements for when there are more guests.

Tannochbrae’s central town location is only a moment walk from the the local pub & restaurants, a bistro bar French restaurant, Spice of India restaurant and take away options in town. There are two grocery shops in town, one next door and one a short walk, as well as a local butchers, pharmacy and coffee shops and café. Other local facilities include parks, one with football goals, local walking tours, many hiking trails
