Our story
We came to Dufftown for the space, the scenery, and the quality of life that’s hard to beat. With a love of travel and have an eye for good design, we’ve stayed in enough places to know what makes a stay genuinely welcoming and comfortable. That experience is behind everything we do.
Speyside Cottages began with restoring The Milking Sheds, and it’s grown from our passion for breathing new life into old buildings. We create homes that feel special, well-designed, thoughtful, and places we’d happily stay in ourselves.
Our aim is simple: offer inviting accommodation and help you connect with the best of Moray and Speyside. Whether you want local recommendations, help with reservations, or complete privacy, we adapt to what you need. Direct booking keeps things personal and straightforward.

Our past Guests Reviews praise our positive communication. No third party holds your deposit or payment. No hour long wait to call centres. Standard terms of cancellation are 100% refund until 2 weeks prior to your arrival date. Thereafter we will endeavour to re-let your dates and make a relative refund based on this.
