With a picturesque harbour, Findochty is a charming little fishing village on the Moray coast. The village itself dates back to the 1400s & it sits on the edge of a historical harbour. Featuring attractive sandy beaches and rock pools, the village offers an ideal base to explore the North East of Scotland either by car or on foot along the coastal walk or nearby Speyside Way.

Couthy Harbour Home will exceed guest expectations, this luxurious property is the perfect getaway for your family or with friends.  It has 3 bedrooms, two King size beds and one double.  There is one luxury bathroom with separate walk-in shower, dual sinks and ambient lighting plus another WC. The Ground floor has exceptional social space with a large kitchen opening onto a private south facing garden, large dining area and cosy living room with wood burning stove and conservatory also opening into the garden.  Smart TVs and reliable WiFi throughout.   Located moments from the Harbour, local bar & restaurant, the sandy beaches and coastal paths.   • Practical utility room gives access to a WC and back door to garden. A perfect spot to shake off sandy toes, dry dogs and with convenience of a sink, cleaning supplies, washing machine and tumble dryer being located here.

  • Wonderful dining room with cove ambient lighting, with many moods to choose from, enjoy the large oak dining table seating 6.  A convenient drinks and wine chiller is located here, next to the large wall mounted Smart Tv.  This room also has an automated blind, accessed by award winning Loxone 5 point switch

  • From the front door you’re welcomed by automated lighting, this also guides you safely during night mode to the bathroom and up or down the stairs.  From the front hallway you can access the dining room or turn left and enjoy the comfortable large living room.   A permanently mounted tablet is mounted here giving you access to all smart home elements, but there is no necessity to use or access this.

  • The living room has impressive ambient ceiling mounted LED lighting, an inviting limestone fireplace with log burning stove, starter pack fuel for this is supplied.  Plenty of seating to relax at the end of an adventure filled day.  Smart TV wall mounted here as well as automated blind. From living room you can access the conservatory.

  • Conservatory gives enjoyable views of your amphitheatre style private garden, with doors leading onto this.  A squishy sofa is ideal for reading and taking a moment for yourself.

  • Large downstairs bathroom has functional and relaxing ambient lighting, to enjoy a bath, or enjoy the walk in shower.  Double sinks and WC complete this beautiful calm space.

  • Stairs are accessed from front hall with automated lighting to safely guide you

  • Double bedroom at top of stairs is a cosy wee room with hotel quality bed, linen and towels supplied.  Velux window has privacy and black out blinds.  Making a cosy comfortable room.

  • Two further spacious King Bedrooms with linen and towels supplied. Each velux has privacy and black out blinds.  The harbour is visible from the Port bedroom window.

  • Both King rooms have space for an infant travel cot.  No need to count an infant (up to 2 years) as a guest when booking.
  • Garden is South facing.  It is enclosed with both grass and paved seating area.  BBQ is located here as well as external lighting making for lovely evening social space too.  Double doors from both the Kitchen and Conservatory link this area in lovely way to connect the opposing ends of home when enjoying the outdoor space.

  • Parking is readily available on street at front of property.  There are no charges or permits required.

  • Loxone Smart Home elements, automated lighting on arrival, in hallways and safely lighting stairs and on entering rooms.  Intuitive 5 point switch design used throughout on wall switches and night light alarm clocks.  Permanently wall mounted tablet gives ease of access for adjusting heating set point in any room, or adding your own lighting variations should you wish it.  At the same time there is no need to use tablet if home is looking after you as it should be.

  • Self-check in ensures you can arrive at your convenience and times can adapt as your travel day rolls out, giving you time to stop at unexpected picture spots or dining options along the way.

  • WiFi throughout home gives the ability of wifi calling, but please note phone signal is not available for majority of networks in this location making it an ideal off-grid coastal retreat to rest, relax & recharge.
